If you give poor white people the opportunity, they will be every bit as eager to reproduce racist institutions as their wealthier cousins.
To be clear, I'm not against class-based solutions; I'm merely aware that classed based solutions may exacerbate racial problems.
(I think the FHA provides a more than adequate cautionary tale.) -
