Pushing black students and other minorities into graduate school and doctoral programs

Pushing black students and other minorities into graduate school and doctoral programs.

They emphasize that we are the few and that we should revolutionize the academy with our narratives but groom us to conform to the system and when people in the cohort would suggest other methods such as using politics to change the system or outside influence, they tend to get ostracized and everything under the sun to make an example of them.

To me it's always been ironic when the programs would use the slogan "change the academy" but in reality it feels more like conform to it so you too can make money though it can cost you your mental, and social health.
