One of the most dangerous things in a society is how it internalizes stupidity and bad habits.
Ironically the power of the society also comes when they propagate good habits. You look at any impoverished group and you will see among them are potential Imhotep's, Lumumba's and Malcolm X's but the social environment reinforces failed behaviors.
And how does anyone escape that when most of what you know comes from that impoverished milieu.
If no one is reading and worried about education how will you know to read and be interested in Education?
